A single course of Profhilo® requires two injection treatments, typically four weeks apart. Your face will be injected at up to 10 injection sites. Profhilo® disperses quickly into the skin.
Profhilo® works differently because it is made of 100% hyaluronic acid, while dermal fillers have other components. Because Profhilo® is made of a completely natural skin substance, it blends into the skin seamlessly and distributes itself evenly. The treatment helps to retain moisture levels while boosting the production of collagen and elastin, refreshing the skin from the inside out.
By contrast, dermal filler is injected to enhance a specific area, and does not typically migrate to the surrounding skin.
