Can Soprano Titanium be used in the summer and can it treat tanned skin?
Yes. Soprano Titanium’s SHR method affects the melanin of the skin using a unique method, which allows the procedure to be performed at any time of year and on tanned skin. In addition, sun exposure is less traumatic to the skin following SHR treatment! While you should always wear sunscreen, it’s great to know your skin is getting some extra protection.
Should I shave before my laser hair removal treatment?
Yes, it’s recommended that you shave in preparation for your treatment. However, it’s important that you avoid waxing, plucking, depilatory creams and electrolysis for at least four weeks before the first treatment. Once you’ve started your sessions, you must avoid all waxing, plucking, depilatory creams and electrolysis until your course is complete.
How permanent is laser hair removal?
The effects of laser hair removal last a long time, but they’re not permanent.
How often will I need laser hair removal appointments?
Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growth cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment.
Is laser hair removal effective to treat PCOS?
Laser hair removal can be a very effective treatment option for those with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). PCOS is one of the most common causes of excessive hair growth, and laser hair removal can help manage this symptom.
I have blonde hair — can I still use laser hair removal?
Unfortunately, blonde, red, grey and white hair don’t have enough pigment to attract the laser, so this treatment isn’t suitable for these hair colours.
Can I still get laser hair removal if I am pregnant?
Based on current medical advice, we are unable to perform laser hair removal during pregnancy.
Can I have laser hair removal over my tattoos?
Unfortunately, we cannot treat tattooed skin with our laser. We can treat around the tattooed areas, leaving a gap of 3cm.
