Anti-wrinkle injections are administered using a very fine needle. You will need several injections for your treatment; however, they should feel like a very small prick and cause you minimal pain and discomfort. We find that most clients can tolerate the sensation extremely well.
Depending on the sensitivity of your skin and any medications you may be taking, there is a chance you may experience some minor, temporary side effects. These may include:

  • Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising at or around the injection site(s)
  • Tiny red dots where you were injected
  • A mild headache, depending on where you were injected.

    These effects will resolve themselves in a short time, but you can take over-the-counter pain medication if needed.
    • Every client responds differently depending on individual physiology, but as a general rule the results of anti-wrinkle injections will last for between two and four months. The impact will wear off gradually. After six weeks, the full effect will lessen and you’ll see a little movement creep back in. Your facial muscles will return to full functionality after 2-4 months, at which point we recommend you return for your next treatment. We recommend a two-week follow-up appointment so that our experts can check your progress.
